Urban Rescue is an independent worship project that began in November 2005 in Southern California. Ignited by the sounds of Snow Patrol, Death Cab for Cutie, and the lyrical writings of Delirious, Urban Rescue provides a unique alternative rock side to the current direction of mass modern worship. With spacious electronic programming, ambiance, Urban Rescue has been writing and working with Southern Califonia's best musicians/producers (Eric Owyoung (Future of Forestry/Something Like Silas), Dwayne Larring (Tim Hughes/Matt Redman), Mark Suhonen (Dr Seahorse and A Gate Called Beautiful) with the specific goals to create fresh, authentic, and inspiring songs for the Church.
Terry Venemous is releasing new music every 3 weeks this year. His latest EP is sumptuous art pop with a wry sense of detachment.
